Explorer does not load on reboot

Posted by Unknown in

Soetimes it happens that the windows explorer does not work to open up as we reboot windows. Then we require to run task manager and open it manually. This can be due any of the viruses that affects th eregistry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
To remove it, go to the registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon through regedit.

In the right pane, modify the value:

"Shell"="explorer.exe some_process.exe"

to:

"Shell"="explorer.exe"

This will end up the problem.
